Professional Path and Interests
Erin’s professional interests center around teaching art and giving students opportunities to create art in different mediums and explore their ideas. She has taught a variety of art courses at the middle school, high school, and college levels which has exposed her to a diverse student population with a broad range of learning styles. When not working in a classroom setting, Erin uses her personal photography to bring awareness to environmental issues and impacts that stem from a variety of land-use activities via the creation of photographs, posters, brochures, and handmade books, using sustainable materials and methods whenever possible in her practice.
